What is the purpose?

• To choose a Mayor who will promote community spirit and have fun, by bringing

support and awareness to our local community charities.

• The candidates are encouraged to use initiative and imagination in their fundraising

activities.

Who can apply?

• Candidates must live, work, or volunteer in the Greater Riverview area

• Candidates must be 21 years of age

Whom does this benefit?

• Designated charity(ies) must be registered as a 501(c)(3) and have ties to Riverview.

• The candidate may designate no more than three (3) charities

When does the race take place?

• March 15 - Application Deadline

• April 1 - Begin Event/Fundraising Begins

• April 30 at 8 AM - End of Race

• April 30 - Announce New Riverview Honorary Mayor
